Erik Garza grew up in West Texas. He knows these roads. He knows what it means when a family’s life is upended by a crash on I-20 — when the bills pile up, the insurance company stops calling back, and the trucking company’s lawyers start building their defense.

Before law school, Erik worked in and around West Texas oilfield towns while growing up — giving him firsthand knowledge of how the oilfield and trucking industries operate from the ground up. After earning his law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston, he spent nearly a decade as an attorney inside ExxonMobil and Noble Energy, working directly within the legal structures that major oil and gas companies use to manage risk, structure contractor relationships, and limit their liability when someone gets hurt. He knows exactly how these companies think — because he worked inside them. That knowledge now belongs to his clients.
